I've had an Invisible Shield on my iPod touch - and not had any problems with the touch capabilities!

Yes!!!!
You need to be careful...
It is very fiddly...
and I almost ran out of the application liquid!
Read the instructions, even watch the online video, have a nice clean area, and wash you hands before you start!!!!

No no marks left at all, and I agree when it's on it it doesn't affect sensitivity of the touch screen. But it is overkill to put it on the front in the first place IMHO

The screen of the iPhone does not need protecting. I've had mine since August 2007 with no protection and it's absolutely perfect -- not a single mark.

i got a dock the other day, and i was wondering whether the iphone will work with any old dock. If not i can just use the AUX option however it would be great to have the iphone in the dock, so does it need a special one?
thanks

I've got a clock radio with ipod dock. Does the 3g Iphone fit your "Standard" ipod dock? It doesn't appear to come with a dock adapter.

I've heard that the 3G iPhone will not fit in the old dock due to the phone being slightly thinner.

hmmm, i just stuffed up, i was telling my husband about the shields for iphones, and how it was needed to keep it from my diamond earings from scratching it (I have been hinting at then for my birthday next week) and his answer was "Simple answer, no diamonds for you!"
Stupid mistake!

they are listed as an optional extra, but it's annoying that it doesn't come with one (I only need one). Every other ipod comes with one. I wonder if it will charge on a standard dock? (I have a "homedics" clock radio dock that's brilliant!).
