Well, my Foofpod just arrived.

I'm extremely disappointed with it. It's waaaay too tight to fit the iPhone in there. It barely fits, and this is without any skin of any sort on the iPhone. I have to literally push the iPhone in hard just to get it in there, and getting it back out again is ridiculous. There's no way you'd get it out in time to answer a phone call.

Tried it with my iPod Touch just to see how the fit is (because the iPhone and iPod Touch have the same Foofpod 'version'). Funnily enough, it's also pretty tight for the Touch. I don't think I'd be happy to use it for that either.

Considering getting a refund. Don't think there's anything else I could use it with.

Just to note, the material is really nice (I ordered the Le Vert one) but the craftsmanship is actually pretty poor. It looks kind of wonky because of the seam in one of the corners.

Waste of 26 bucks.

Oooh nice!

My BodyGuardz are here and while I can live with the imperfect fitting (my fault) on the rear of my iPhone... hard to see air bubbles on the white iPhone anyway... the Power Support anti glare shields win at life for hiding fingerprints. Some people hate the finish, I loved it on my Touch

Both the Power Support Crystal and Anti-Glare films for the iPhone 3G are on our site now.

Links are just under the "new product releases" on the right hand side.

Cheers, tryandbyte!

Now to decide whether to go for crystal or anti-glare. Hmmm...

EDIT: Went ahead and ordered the crystal. I think I'd just get annoyed at the anti-glare on there all the time.

No idea. It's possible. But someone else in this thread said the same thing, that the iPhone was a very tight fit in there with just a simple bodyguardz on there. I don't even have ANYTHING on my iPhone and it's still tight. I emailed Foof and I can get a replacement or a refund. I'll be getting a refund.

What I do find interesting though is that each 'Foofpod' selection, there is different sizes for the different devices they're used with. For example, there's the 'iPhone/iPod Touch' one, 5G classic, 3G nano, etc, for each different style. So they've lumped iPhone and iPod Touch together. Yet, when you read that little grey column where it says 'About Foofpods', it lists different sized Foofpods for the different iPhones (original and 3G) as well as the Touch. I could have sworn the iPhone 3G info wasn't listed there when I ordered mine, but I could be wrong. So perhaps you have to specify which iPhone you're going to use it with, to get a different size. There's no way to do this through the website or paypal, though. The system just sees it as for 'iPhone/iPod Touch'.

Let me know how yours goes. I hope you get one that fits well.

Vodafone have a charger/cable combination for $19.95

Better value than buying from DSE $39.95

Now I know that wasn't a very interesting post, but I do hope it was usefull to someone, Twenty bucks is Twenty bucks.

Wow, fitting it was a real bitch lol...luckily I got some refueling gloves with my new car (a diesel model), so I used them to keep all fingerprints away. All went well, but the corners are slightly buckled - but that I'm ok with.

you barely notice its there, and its certainly a bit grippier. Doesnt seem to dull the whiteness at all.
