Yep just got home, picked it up from Optus in Miranda. Wow, my old virgin SIM works in it. Thank god for that, as Im waiting for my number to port thru to Optus  .

I walked past the line this morning.
It was quite long, but they seemed to be making good progress.
My local store in the Eastern Suburbs was surprisingly busy too.
I feel especially sorry for the people waiting out in the FREEZING cold, who aren't certain of getting a phone. I'd be so deflated if I waited and got turned away.

I have just arrived home with new iPhone in hand. Sadly Telstra had a system overload and my sim is not activated. Just the phone! I have pictures & video of the whole event. Once I get my brain back to earth I will post. Also have pictures of the folks at Optus.

Can anyone who managed to get one at Optus confirm things like Visual Voicemail and iTunes & App-Store access? Even the iZoo stuff, how is that implemented?

They are supposed to load "iZoo" on there after they unbrick it... thankfully, the manager was cool enough about it when two of us said "Please, no" lol
App store works... Haven't tried voicemail yet.

THERE IS NO FRIGGIN 16GB PREPAID FROM ANY OPTUS STORE ON EARTH..... i think..... lol
cant find a single one. All have told me they only got the 8gb on prepaid.....  |

Went to Optus in Albury at 7am.
They weren't even open.
At all.
ILOVEYOUALBURY.
So noww, I do suppose I will have to wait for the next shipment.
