On another note, has anyone unlocked their iPhone and gotten it working on another carrier (Three, Virgin etc.)?

You're talking about 5am! If anyone has already unlocked their iPhones, I will be so surprised - I'm going back to sleep once I've got my iPhone. (Store doesn't open until 9, so I'll be heading out the door soon) |

Can someone with a WHITE one please, please post a couple of pics. There are about 2 pictures I've seen on the internet that are poorly taken and it looks horrible. If you could show us a couple of pics where it looks good I'd appreciate it.

guys! I am currently using my virgin sim in my new optus iPhone! It works without any unlocking! 3g data and all. I'm posting this from it now! Great news for prepaid buyers...

I've got mine! lined up outside Telstra in Melbourne this morning Number 22.
Surprise Surprise System was down had to be signed up (plan side of it) manually. Got the phone though!! is Beautiful, by the time it hit 6am about 150-200 lined up. Telstra plans still sucked and no sign of Pre-Paid.
Also saw a few white ones in store this morning, looked much nicer in person. But so did the black!

Just got home myself, boy am I stuffed. 7 hours waiting outside the Optus store on George & Hunter. Optus completely stuffed things up, even dropping one of my iPhones. Staff training at the store (couldn't have been a worse time to train staff). But got the last of the 16GB Blacks in the store (I think). There were only whites left.
Got to walk out with the phones, but their systems were malfunctioning, so they couldn't put the contract details in.
