OPtusworld in North Melbourne.
I drove past at 7:15 on way to drop car for a service and there were only 2 people in the store.
I'd just call any stores in your area and ask them if they have stock. Lines should have dissipated by around lunchtime at the latest for the busy city stores, earlier for others.

Sydney Apple store = stock for all carriers and no Optus deposits are acknowledged. Wait is a while though,
