It's interesting that I have heard that whitePhones are hard to find. I have a 16GB whitePhone now & my Voda store only had 16GB in white. When I left (after teaching the staff how to activate the fecking thing lol!) they were sold out. It was the Voda store at Stocklands Mall Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast. Their next shipment is due in next Friday.

I was at Chadstone an hour ago. Optus are all sold out (OptusWorld has even closed up the shop), people were still queuing at Telstra (dunno why, their plans are really shit), and Vodafone, as well as all the other vodafone resellers I spoke to all still had some.

Is the apple store selling them? Or have they set up optus/voda/telstra agencies in their for them to sell. I thought if apple sells them they have to be unlocked cause of the trade practices act and third line forcing? |

OptusWorld Pacific Fair only had 8GB Black left when I left at 11:30am - I would say they are all gone now.
I was the first person to miss out on the 16GB in the line! Though I have a 160GB classic iPod - so I think it was a blessing in disguise!

A colleague just returned about 1/2 hour ago from the Telstra Melbourne T-Life store saying there are still a lot of 16Gb Whites there.

i have just called vodafone at Knox and they said they still have some 8GB and 16GB left and there Chadstone store also has some 8GB left. Looks like its not just the early bird who catches the worm

When we got into the store (around 11am) we were told T-Life Melbourne CBD only had 100 black 16gbs available but lots of white 16gbs. |

Too expensive for me to upgrade, because I got an N95 only 6 months ago on contract.
Will cost about $600 to break the contract.... which if I did, I would leave Voda after that and go to Optus.
All the Vodafone stores I rang around Perth today still had iPhones left, as of 30 minutes ago as well.
