Has anyone dealt with the Optus store at Stockland Greenhills, NSW (Newcastle / maitland region)???
I placed and order with them on the 11th for a 16gb prepaid black and have not heard a thing.
I'm not holding my breath but would like to know if others have already received theirs as I was first on the list.
We were the 1st two in the store (myself and my GF) and both left very disgruntled when we were told they weren't selling any 16gb prepaid. Great start to the day to piss off your 1st two customers.

Vodafone 16gb black phone or internet purchase update - they are expecting stock to come into their warehouse (not stores) today however I was told there may still be a week wait for delivery to customers.
A bit disappointing given previous posts saying some competitor stores have 16gb iphones on hand but just not vodafone. Why??

Nextbyte Perth Carousel apparently will be selling the iphones today, they cant atm because awaiting demo model which should arrive today. Was interested in purchase out right with them (crappy telstra) until they said the price $1199 outright, what BS, bite me helstra.........

Could you be misdirecting your anger there? The Telstra outright price for a 16GB iPhone is $847.

I know i mention that price point from Optus and was told that was Nextbytes pricing on any 16gig non contracted iphone. Amazing

Went to Telstra Morley (Perth) and they told me they have heaps of 8GB and 16GB in stock. Selling them outright to.

Went to Telechoice in Mitcham, Victoria today and picked up a White 16GB on Optus.
Great service, even held it there for me after I phoned first an hour or more before I could actually get down there.
Highly recommend giving them a call if you're in the area. I think they only had a couple of 16GB whites, but I think they had stock of 8GB's.
Port of my number from Telstra to Optus was almost instantaneous too, working before I left the store!

Rouse Hill? Damn, thats righ round the corner from me! Wish i wanted a telstra plan... but HELL NO! Why is it stores are getting stock but not telco warehouses for their direct customers or upgrades??? GRRRRR.....

just picked up a black 8gb at Telechoice Redbank Plains shopping ctr in Brisbane as my local store at Mt. Ommaney had no stock, but gave me the tip. In and out in 10 minutes with an activated unit. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Still a few left. Highly recommended.

Just picked up a 16gb white from MyMac, Flinders St, Melbourne. No raincheck or anything. Walked in, ported across, walked out with the phone. Not sure what they have or how many (definitely no black 16 gig though).
Pretty good guys. I'm very happy now. I'll be happier once I can get home and activate it.
