When would we get the new version of itunes for iphone 3g??
yes wondering cuz i saw this

youd think they would want to get everyone set so they can activate it (speculative) / sync it etc. as soon as they bought it...

I would not be surprised if its tonight and yesterdays outage was part of that test for the Apps store.

MobileMe will be online sometime between 11am and 5pm AEST, so I presume iTunes 7.7 will be launched around the same time. As a requirement of MobileMe is:
iTunes 7.7 or later (free download from Apple - iTunes - Download iTunes)
So to get MobileMe working, they need to release iTunes 7.7, so it actually could be released before 11am AEST to ensure when they do launch MobileMe we can access immediately.
