you just recharge with whatever amount that you want every month and go crazy with that amount..

Recharges of $40 or more include MyData.
you just go on the turbo cap.
you dont pick an amount to recharge.

+ you also get all of the following:
  1. Rollover
  2. Roll Back (24 month contract only)
  3. International Call Cap
  4. Free for 5
I just spoke with a very helpful chap on Optus' 1300 number. My assumptions above are correct. The other interesting tidbit worth repeating is he reckoned they would be selling iPhones through their call centres on Friday morning???

The email they sent out specifically says they won't be sold online or over the phone for a while...

ALL AVAILABLE iPHONE PLANS

Vodafone is subject to change, as their call/excess data rates have not been seen.

Help me choose an iPhone plan

Right I really want an iphone..

I currently have a Ipod Touch 8gb and my Nokia 6288 piece of god damn trash has broken for a 4th time with a screen failure.

I want to get a iPhone to replace the phone and will give my ipod touch to my sister.

My dad pays for the phones and currently its on a $29 3 cap. I want to pay a maximum of $40 a month for the iphone and no more than $300 upfront for the handset (would prefer a 16gb but i doubt i'll get one for that price..) with this i want to have atleast $30 worth of calls/text etc and atleast 100mb of 3G Data usage for occasional web browsing, email and msn. I will use wifi from home for the most part.

So, reccomend me a good plan for no more than $40 a month but preferably around $30 a month..

thanks!!

Telstra looks ok for $279 upfront and $30 a month. i dont know how much data you get though????

or there is optus for $19 a month but you have to pay expensive handset repayments on top that..

Guys, please feel free to ask questions here - but you might want to consider doing a bit of research first, because NeoRicen and a lot of the other forums members have already done a lot of the work in distilling the plans for you.

Check out the news item on the front page (or my sig) for links to all of the relevant stuff, including NeoRicen's tables and charts - all of which will provide you with more than enough information to make a start.

If they don't answer what you need to know, by all means, hit us with your questions.
