50% of your monthly plan cost multiplied by the number of months remaining on your plan. It can be more expensive if you are also paying off your phone each month (eg. you got it free with your plan).
Call 1555 from your mobile and when Lara asks what you want to do, say "Cancel Service" and they can tell you exactly

I was on vodafone prepaid ages ago, then got put onto some telstra plan deal with my mum, after 6 months of telstra constantly getting my bills wrong, me having to ring them up and correct it, constantly going into the store with billing issues, i told them they can stick there account and i went back to Vodafone. Even if you gave me free iPhones i wouldnt go back. NEVER again

There is no cooling off period with mobiles...you'd be up for the full cost of the contract...unless they rang you to peddle it to you then I think there is a 30 day cooling off....but from what you've said...no you'd be up for the lot

If Vodafone get a whiff of that I don't think they'll be changing anything with their plans...

Min plan $69.00 on a 24 month contract, so you would be looking at $34.50 x 24
So $828 Termination Fee + cost of the phone, assuming you wanted to do it that way. Keep in mind this will almost certainly not leave you with an unlocked phone, just one without a contract...

Well, looks like Optus is going to be the winner...I expect this kind of "please leave all your money/car/everything you own, with us before you enter Tlife" from Tel$tra, but not from Voda. At least Tel$tra an claim they have the coverage.
Sheesh
I may have to wait after all

I was in Computers Now this afternoon and saw a conspicuous box sitting in the corner. I snapped a picture of it with my iPhone while they weren't looking.. shhhh!
