$79 cap plan w/ $300 call credit, and 400mb included data with excess at $2 for 10mb. 8Gb iPhone included, or $9 extra each month for the 16gb. This is all on the 24mo contract too.
Sounds a bit dumb that they would reduced the amount included from $600 to $300 on the $79 cap....

To me id imagine theyd include the 8gb free on a $49 cap, then a 16gb free on the $79 cap. Still id rather pay an amount upfront for the phone thats low enough to beat optus. Im thinking like Under $400 for the 16gb, i dont like the idea of paying extra each month for the phone

He was only making it up anyway. So it was bound to be stupid in the first place.

I've been with Telstra for the last 2 years, so it sounded good to me.

I'm too scared to say now. There were some speculations that at 10am a list of stores and maybe plans would be released by Vodafone Australia.

The Vodafone NZ prices are disgusting, hopefully and likely Aus will be better. Plus I don't wanna change carriers. The hassle from Optus to Vodafone last time was incredible.

Also guys, don't forget the reason the NZ Voda prices suck so badly is...

No competition. They are the only 3G/GSM provider in NZ. Telecom NZ is CDMA only. As a result, they're able to dictate the pricing. And their pricing sucks allover
