unlocking an old Moto V3X.. anyone?
So the phone I've got is a moto v3x, old old one locked to 3. I was wondering if there's an easy way to unlock it so I could use a different 3G sim card in it?

yeah mechcon there is, I did mine a while back now. You will need a usb cable, a pc, and the motorola maintenance software - cant remember what it was called but is easily found with google and bittorrent.

You can screw the phone but i fiubnd it worked very plainlessly

I still am Adam yes, but I haven't got time to go to the store sadly, and it's a bit of a smeg-up from the store's end.. they forgot to process the purchase of the phone, I mean I still got the invoice/purchase receipt for it. They just forgot to tell 3 that I had it on a contract..

mmm maybe I'll have to go see them about it then maybe..
