Telcos give in to unhappy customers regarding IPhone Plans and launch Approach

Hey guys,
Check out the following article!

Customer Backlash on iPhone Rate Plans, Launch Approaches - Mac Rumors

I wonder if we guys in Australia have the same kind of bargaining power?

What are your thoughts?

well from initial looks at the plans we aren't being screwed as some countries...but i would think that if we were they would know about it...and also today tonight would have a say in all of this.

I think the fact that we've got 3 carriers competing with each other launching the iPhone will mean we won't get truly screwed.

Canada and Sweden have 1 iPhone carrier each (correct me if I'm wrong). So pretty much no competition in regards to iPhone plans.

Ha. When I clicked on that link Amzy, a popup ad for Panadol came up. Maybe the Canadian Telco Rogers should offer that as part of their iPhone solution when they quote rates to potential customers.

Well.. I didn't expect the iPhone to be THAT revolutionary! For telcos to cave in to customer's needs.. Very interesting times to come indeed.. perhaps lifting the expensive costs for data too? One can hope.

Our plans aren't that bad though. They're far from the best, but they're not as bad as Canada.
