Network Locking: Apple iPhone handsets are locked to the Optus network. An $80 fee applies if network locking is removed within the first 6 months from the activation date. Alternatively, if you recharge to the value of $80, no fee applies.

I was just speaking to a guy at Optus about the plans, he said, these are the only iPhone plans. I said, I get better value on my current business account as I get FleetTime. He's gone off to check with his supervisor.

[edit: Ah... Got it - yes it does apply. The name of the image file is "Post-Paid-YesPlanBenefits.gif" so it applies to both plans] That's nice! Does any other provider currently do that?

how does that mean anything, i believe it only applies to the Yes plans and not the Yes Cap plans

Oh, you're right.... I was assuming post paid = cap plan. Not so appealing now. Thought it was too good to be true.

I'm in the exact same situation. The local Optus Store has said that local stores can't do anything about Business plans, and I have to deal with central Optus. I'm on the phone right now with Optus to find out more...

What is the difference seriously between a 'Yes Cap Plan' and a 'Yes Plan'?
Which is better?

I imagine this will be a nasty little bit for those on a cap plan: You are not able to view your monthly usage prior to receiving your bill. If you exceed the included value of these services in any one billing period, standard rates of your plan will apply.
