When completing my page I got Allphone and Network Com. stores coming up as well, yet I put my preference down at the 'yes' Optus store because I figured that they would be more likely to get (more) stock.

I have also paid a deposit with Optus but so far haven't received anything to indicate my preference for store/handset etc.

Interestingly, I dont see any Optus airtime resellers (i.e. BShop or Soul or whatever they are called these days) on there... I dont think they've got it?

I'd be onto someone Monday morning, if I were you. I got a similar email - choosing handset and type of commitment - but not choosing a store to pickup from - BUT I never put a deposit down.

That's really strange! I paid my deposit a few days after the information was released - I know a few people that did the same thing and they have all got there emails that had links to a portal like thing and you put it contract - prepaid, model etc and register.

Maybe your transaction didn't process correctly? Did you ever get a invoice email after you entered your deails?

Oh by the way everyone that paid the $100/$50 for every email optus sent out were they all duplicated haha? coz ive recieved 2 of everyone.

Yeah I figured the City Optus World would be the best also. I may even line up early when I find out when they are opening. Hopefully I can pick up one before I head to Melbourne later that morning
