Hold on... I thought the point of a CAP was to not get any surprises on your phonebill... Meaning that if I go on a $59 cap, that's all I would ever pay per month?
Arrrrgh... seriously, why can't I pay a flat fee per month and get unlimited calls, text and data? Fuck you telcos!

On the phone right now. Business plans apparently same as non-business, just called business. No more fleet-time on iPhone apparently.

500MB should be heaps, big downloads eg apps should be done over wifi anyway

Argh, that is dodgy! Vodafone currently allow me to check where I'm up to on my $79 cap. I was even hoping for an iPhone app that would show you your usage anywhere you went if you checked it, but looks like I'm dreaming.

Just a heads up to whoever missed it. The free first month of data is only for 24 month contracts - I only just realised it wasn't for the 12 month.
I say for that first month, we attempt to download the entire internet.

On the phone still - I'm being told I have to pay $344 cancellation fee to move from current business plan to the iPhone plan for me to get an iPhone!
They are going to put me through to "Retention" to see if this can be waived... mmm... if I have to cancel my current Optus business plan, might as well jump to Telstra...

Usually yes, but they'll only move your phone line if you can get ULL or are in an optus cable area. And also I dare say they're not too interested in discounting the new iPhone plans Ring and ask though it never hurts.

Spoke to Telstra store today, and was very disappointed with what they told me they were offering. (Yes they actually told me what was included with their plans, I was surprised...)
But now rejoice! I think I want the Optus $89 cap plan with a new 16Gb iPhone black! UNLESS Vodafone are even better again! They are usually more generous with their caps! Woo!

Why do they have to make this shit so confusing.
I just wish they'd do data and voice separately. I don't make very many calls so some time down the track I can see myself using more data than voice.
God I'm not looking forward to attempting to wad through this crap again.
