I met on this week! I bought an iPhone this week from the Mac store at Chadstone (Melb) and one of the guys there put the anti glare/screen protection film thingy on my new "baby". No bubbles, no dirt, no fingerprints ..... perfect.

If you go to the Chaddy store - ask for Troy .......

No SD Card Slot, not a biggie really but I did use this often for transferring files from work to home, I will just have to remember to bring one into work and leave it there.
If you get "Air Sharing" from the App Store, you may have this sorted. Provided you have wifi at both work and home, it allows you to mount the iPhone in the finder of either a Mac or a Windows machine and copy files to or from it. Documents in many formats can also be read on the iPhone.

I sooooo wanted an iphone ... finally a phone that was in sync with my computer .... no conversions, just plug and play, reliable software ..... a phone that offers everything Mac , but in phone format ..... or so I thought?

Problems I've encountered:
1. No video calls. I loved being able to video call friends/family and see their faces or where they were.
2. Big headache .... no MMS .... pleeeeeeezzzzzzzeeee ..... not everyone has email on their phone. Some ppl are still trying to learn how to operate a mobile with sms and mms without the added pressure of teaching them to connect to the internet.
3. How the heck can I forward a message without having to retype it all again in a new message.
4. Where's the copy and paste facility????????

Of course there are some great things too! Don't get me wrong. I love the instant access to the internet, the built-in ipod, the apps store, qwerty keyboard (but not if you have big fingers), the sleekness of the unit ..... but plz ... I did expect the iphone to be able to do the simplest of things that other mobile users take for granted.
