GadgetGuy: iPhone 3G has MMS?
Eh?
Just looking on the Telstra GadgetGuy article and he claims the iPhone 3G has MMS?
The new iPhone offers compatibility with Microsoft's Exchange Mail Server that rules the messaging world and would allow transmission of images as MMS, when the previous version of the iPhone would only allow images to be emailed.
Any thoughts?

I think he might have it wrong, but I also read on another site that they were planning on including it soon (can't remember where I read it, anyone know?)
EDIT: Here it is MMS messages coming to iPhone | 9 to 5 Mac

Exchange Mail Server is email... what's that got to do with MMS. I think it's a mistake. That or Telstra's made their own MMS app, which would be a selling point for them.

Hehe, yeah you're reading the sentence incorrectly: The new iPhone offers compatibility with Microsoft's Exchange Mail Server that rules the messaging world
and
would allow transmission of images as MMS
He's not saying that Exchange will handle the MMS, he's saying that the new iPhone offers compatibility with Exchange and allow you to sends MMSs.
Don't feel bad though, it's a poorly written sentence.

Well, could it be that not many people use MMS? I certainly don't. And I don't recall any of my friends using it either.
Especially since you can receive email with photo attachments straight to your iPhone, it would eliminate the need for MMS.

Could be that Telstra will have an MMS application as a part of their "exclusive" apps, and/or run a back end server that will parse email into MMS.
