Oooh, just noticed the Swiss plans include prices for outright/prepaid.

Nice deals. I would be the "Mezzo" one. BUT 250MB enough for "daily net surfers"? I think not!

Done, we have a new winner!

The data in Switzerland's lowest plan is terrible, but given their most expensive plan is only $56 for 1GB, who cares?
Problem is, I don't think these plans include calls.

Even if they don't include calls, the call rates are 50 cents an hour!

If you click the plans to view the PDF, you see that that's only for calls to the same network and the "fixed network" (landlines?). To other providers it's 50c a minute, which is still much better than what we pay.
It's a little confusing, because I have no idea what NATEL or COMBOX is.

Natel is basically the name for their mobile product.
Commbox is their voicemail.
I have to tell, as someone who is used to paying through the nose for almost every bloody thing here (apple products can be 15-20% more expensive sometimes), these prices were quite welcome.

Try a markup of 30%. It will be closer to reality.

Wow, Swiss iPhone is cheap outright
I'd gladly pay $599 for an 8GB iPhone.

By buying it outright, are you "locked" to their network? Or you can use your own current SIM?

Locked most likely, but easy to Jailbreak and unlock without being stuck on a contract.

Good question. I'll ask them on July 11th. But I would guess locked as well.
