Or maybe even Telstra (they haven't ruled out prepaid, just not announced it).
If vodafone was one hundred cheaper than Optus on prepaid they could really sell a lot of iPhones, and dominate the teen/early 20s iPhone market.

I think the prepaid will be exactly the same price. In Italy two carriers announced prepaid prices at exactly the same time and the prices were exactly the same.
I have a feeling the prepaid/outright prices are RRPs from Apple and won't differ much (if at all) from carrier to carrier.

Only question is, how can I get one from there? I can only think of one way, that is to get someone from switzerland to buy it and send it to you... but I dunno anyone from switzerland, is there any other way to get it? (excluding ebay)

I'm sure that someone will set up a service like PriceUSA that can smuggle iPhones out of Switzerland (normally you want to smuggle things into Switzerland). However, once you pay for postage, plus a fee on top for the person's troubles, you're looking at around $700 I reckon.

An extra $30 for the convenience of getting it locally is worth it as far as I'm concerned.
The fact that iPhones are now available locally at all will greatly reduce demand for services such as PriceUSA (for iPhones) anyway.

Well they aren't the cheapest Swiss plans announced, so no need to update the table.
