In all seriousness, most people who queue up for these things (especially when it involves departing with a large amount of money) are pretty honest, reasonable people. I doubt you'd have a huge problem, and if so, others in the queue would hopefully stick up for you.  |
You'd hope! But the iPhone crowd aren't necessarily the Apple Store crowd.
I'm avoiding midnight launches, and at 7am Friday I'll be at my nominated Optus Store. I'll be carrying a heavy granny handbag to deal with leather jackets. You have been warned!
leather jacket (noun) person who sneakily slips into an established queue. Esp pointlessly, because if they were in their correct spot, they'd only be a few people back!

Nahh wont be queing, didn't que for the iPod Touch so why que up for the iPhone ? Stock will be made available even if network providers do sell out, its not like they are limiting sales of the iPhone 3G for only one week, it will always be available, might just have to wait a few weeks after the launch date.....

Getting back to the original topic of the thread.
What I think is interesting is that - after over a week of the poll being open, ONLY 55 of the most Apple loving people in the country have said that they will be queueing up for the iPhone.
That is not many people, so being optimistic, I think there will be plenty of iPhone love to go around.
