iPhone/iPod touch to become iTunes remote
Apple to Offer iTunes Remote Control App for iPhone and iPod Touch - Mac Rumors

Macrumors is reporting an iTunes 7.7 (Where's 8 already?) Beta apparently contains this text:

A lot of people should be happy with this, it was a pretty popular dream app if I recall.

PS: Didn't know where to post, seeing as it was iPhone OS related I posted it here. If it goes in iPods or Mac OSX please move it .

PSS: I searched to see if this had been posted and nothing, apologies if it has, but it's a pretty recent story.

But, I made my own way around that a while back, when I downloaded zTunes, and used it.
It's great, because I can use it on any Mac, any PC, iPod/iPhones, PS3 etc, and control what's playing on my MacBook. Combine that with Port Forwarding and NiceCast (Internet Radio Streaming) and I've got an awesome listening machine that lets me listen to music from my library, anywhere I want .
I'm re-skinning it, so it looks better on a iPod Touch/iPhone.
