Kudos Channel 9 graphic designers.

God to see they are on par with their print colleagues who are also happy to touch up photos or use shots from the vault inappropriately. And don't get me started on the words they print...
At least this was a blatantly modified pic.

Not a actual story as such, more a segway into the financial news of the day.

I don't understand why Optus is getting any limelight? They don't have any deal with Apple what so ever escept for stocking the iPhone which it seems every Bob and Jane's Phone Business will be able to do.

It's even better if you just search for "iPhone" on Google Image search.
It's the first result.

Actually, Optus has had other dealings with Apple in the past

Absolute f-ing joke the whole thing is.
MT comes out with pretty much the first report in the world that the 2nd gen iPhone will be sold unlocked - everywhere is saying it now - and we just get tossed aside as made up link bait.
Now Cnet comes out with an even vaguer story saying nothing new that MT didn't say months ago and they make it onto the 6pm news.....complete and utter joke.
As for them using an image for promo purposes (they didn't make it as was proven earlier) - I didn't expect any better of them.
