iPhone or iPod Touch - which one would you buy?
Just a general question, which would you buy, the upcoming most likely 3G iPhone or the current iPod Touch. I personally am going to buy the iPhone when it's released here in Australia.
Vote in the poll and post your thoughts.

Oh the iPhone, no doubt. I had an iPod Touch, but it felt like a neutered iPhone. Having internet access everywhere is so bloody good. Being tethered to wi-fi sucks. A 3G iPhone would be so perfect, with the device having proper bandwidth.

iPhone.
Reasons?
First and foremost I hate the back/shiny surface which gets easily scratched. I've owned a 4G iPod before.
You get a Dock with the iPhone. Always nice to have/charge/sync.
I prefer the 'bulk' of the iPhone because I would probably lose the iPod touch and also the frame (shiny silver) is very nice.
Free camera.

iPhone for sure. iPod touch as said above just feels like a neutered iPhone.

I definitely think the iPhone is the way to go. The iPod Touch is basically the iPhone without the phone and camera (in the current model).

I'll be getting a Touch next month, only because I already have an N95 that has most (if not all) of the features the iPhone has. Granted the UI is not a patch on the iPhone, but the camera is fantastic! The Touch will be a great complement (and allow me to use all that DRM content I have bought over the years with Apple).

iPod touch
I bought one of these recently as a part of the Student promo and am glad I got it as:
- I have warranty
- I don't need the phone call functionality (hardly use my phone as I have no friends).
- I dont use it as a Internet device, 3G plans are still bullshit in Australia with data allowances.
- I use it for everything else, ipod, pdf reader, notes maker etc.
My advice is, don't get one of those iSkin protector cases. Extremely overpriced. Just get a $10 one from HK Ebay and it's the same deal for a fraction of the price (what they're really worth).
