I'd very much prefer to have the iPhone. This is dependant on what they actually will sell it for when it gets released in Australia.

Im not sure.

I've been offered an iPhone from another forum member for a lot cheaper than wht they will retail for here, bu thtere is also the fact that it arrives only 1 month before the scheduled June release of the 3G iPhone.

I never said I was sad about it

I couldn't possibly be better off. I save heaps of dough on phone calls, SMS, petrol, unreturned money/items. Not to mention I can do whatever I want, whenever I want without annoyance of people butting into my life.

Now just to exterminate these immediate family members ....

I'm not a big phone user and I already have a mobile.

I'm getting an iPod touch. The simplicity actually appeals to me.

For those who are selecting 'none of the above', what does this mean?

Another smart phone?
An iPod nano/classic?

Much as I love the touch, I've never been able to get past the notion that it's a crippled iPhone. So I'll keep holding out for the iPhone.

For a dedicated music player, I actually prefer the nano to the touch, so it's the phone features that would get the iPhone over the line.

I was thinking I'd go Touch and get a regular phone... just recently switched to Telstra prepaid so i could get at the browse pack on edge... used the NextG fone I bought, for a couple of days... drove me completely spare, not having my iphone. So much easier to do... well... anything... with the iphone.

I just put this there if you wouldn't buy either an iPhone or iPod Touch.
