So who's had a poke around the SDK
I've d/l it, but am stuck at work, I'm dying to know if there's any hint of a full bluetooth stack for 2.0.
Any other juicy info from playing with it?

If I had access to the file to download then I can download it at 1.7MB/sec Please let me DL!!!
But in the mean time I had a look at the video and very awesome. My biggest concern was in putting together at the GUI, but the interface builder looks awesome.
Can't wait to play with it....

Connect.apple.com seems to be down, so the emailled link won't work.
I got it going via logging back into developer.apple.com/iphone and selecting 'download sdk'

I had a go, and wrote a small application today.
The biggest hump to get over for Mac developers playing with the early beta is that all UI has to be created programatically for now. The interface builder shown in the presentation is not yet included, and so all elements have to be created on the fly.
I just wrote a little app to look up warranty status of a Mac (via serial number). Took me about an hour and a half from start to finish, and most of that was organizing interface elements, and memory management. Of note, the iPhone OS does not support garbage collection introduced in 10.5, so it's back to releasing objects (which I like better anyway).

So, how does the application work? I'm interested in this.

I thought it was going really slow downloading, until I saw the size! I'm using the iPhone simulator at the moment to see how MacTalk looks.

I'll bet the iPhone simulator is a VERY good way to sell iPhones...
Wonder if they'll put it up on apple.com for people to "testdrive" the software..
