Given some of the games discussed at the announcement, and some of the ideas being floated for iPhone/iTouch apps, this (on the surface at least) places an interesting restriction on things like mailers, analysis tools and so on. |

Of course this doesn't mean that it cannot be circumvented. But then again why would you want to? __________________

(if you need $99 to get your apps on the iTMS, just lemme know!) | That's OK; their Installer sources are on ModMyiFone (doing very well in download counts), and the Objective-C source code is released under GPL.
I appreciate the offer, but UWA will front my $99, so please pass it to "someone who needs it".
I think we will see a growing number of developers, here, quite soon. Perhaps we could drive their discussions by having a forum section for them. At present, none for the 4 sections really matches the potential content. Andrew? | Projects is perfect for this kinda thing.Currawong was just saying how underused it was today in the March News post. The SDK is so exciting so it would be great to see some MacTalkers having a go, I am thinking of having a look myself. __________________ My Blog - How to Save an Earth - Environmental Commentary and Solutions MacBook (White) + iMac (al) + iPod (15Gb) + iPhone (8Gb) |

However I am sure it has more to do with stability of the platform. I know my old HP would crash a lot once a few things were open. Perhaps the solution may be a quit save set up, so when the app is being forced to quit for a call, it auto saves and reloads from that point.
Not being a developer I am not sure if that is possible with the SDK. Clearly it would involve access to the mem and I haven't seen anything to indicate that is being given. |

I wouldnt expect the policy to change because they are both very serious issues. |
