That's correct, just get a new duckhead or an AUS cable from the power brick to wall. Or use a $2.00 adaptor.

That's a great price! Basically USA retail. I just had a friend buy one for me. Paid $624 for an 8gig with extra dock shipped.

The power supply for my MBP and iPod USB power supply are both rated 100-240volt. Go and have a look at the ratings on the units. They can be used here and the USA. All you need to do is buy a travel adaptor or the Apple travel adaptor kit.

Welcome Carolina;
No doubt I'll be ordering from you tonight, your site is fantastically easy to navigate, and the pricing is just outstanding.
Hope you enjoy your stay at Mactalk!
Edit: Never mind, ordered just then anyway

This is mentioned in my FAQ, but the reason is a combination of USA state sales tax (US$34.71) and an extra $40 I pay my agent to get the phones.

Carolina must be annoyed at repeating herself. I've seen that question posted a few times and it's even in the FAQ (as mentioned).
PriceUSA sounds good. I don't need to buy anything right now, but I will use them in future! Maybe for a laptop or something.

I'm having a really hard time not ordering one...right now.
Price USA looks good, I've had the offer of second hand iPhones for more than they are charging.

They need something like this for New Zealand. Unless maybe Price USA is prepared to ship here? Couldn't find an email or contact info on the website.

yeah I was more talking about imacs/mac pros etc.
Devices sometimes have multi voltage tolerant supplies - but if they don't - bang!

I don't see any mention of a $40 agent's fee anywhere on the site - just discussion of the '2 iPhone limit' and having to pay sales tax. It's just rolled into the base price of the unit. For the 16gb iPhone, for example, it just says 'Item price: $581', with no explanation for why it isn't $499. The agent's fee isn't part of the price, though - it's an additional service charge, and should really be listed as such.

Grrrrr, read the FAQs as suggested. It is clearly explained.

IPHONE ORDERING QUESTIONS
Are your iPhones unlocked?
No. The phone is ordered directly from Apple and you will need to unlock (hack) the iPhone yourself before you can use it here in Australia. We can't help you unlock them, but if you want to learn about what is involved in unlocking then take a look at iPhone Hacks or the iPhone hacking tutorial.
06/02/08 Update
We have added Apple iPhones to the site again. The problem we have is Apple now limits each person to 2 lifetime iPhones purchases. Our USA agent is able to acquire them, but we have to pay them more for all the work involved in getting them. In addition, as they can only be purchased from Apple, our agent must also pay USA sales tax. This means that each locked phone now cost us US$473.71. Consequently, the price for the locked iPhones, including shipping to Australia and all our fees, is between A$580.00 to A$600.00 depending on the exchange rate.
Our iPhones are ordered directly from Apple and so may have firmware 1.1.4.
The new 16GB iPhone model has also been added to the quick buy. It is priced around A$720.00.
