It looks like a decent upgrade, so how long do you think it will take to be hacked??

We should run a sweep. I'm taking 10 days.

Any Apple dealer here want to ante-up a Macbook for a prize

Seem to recall reading someplace that this update is unlikely to be cracked easily.

edit: Yep, here.

That's exactly what was said for 1.1.1 and 1.0.2. My guess is weeks. Few weeks.

Post-update, iTunes now asks for AT&T account number, zip code and last four digits of your social security number.

Good God, how far witll they go with this? Asks for Social Security Number? So are we going to see it here asking for our Tax File Number?

I love Apple but after this keynote I lost ALOT of respect for them. Between the Ipod Touch $20 money grabbing, Apple TV still remaining at old price in OZ and now increasing privacy intrusions to protect their $$ collecting from the iphone subscriptions it's getting a bit much..

The Keynote contents was very disappointing. Hopefully Apple will pick up their marks before WWDC.

Thanks

I dont mind that much for most of the updates, but it would be good to get the SMS app and Maps app from a 1.1.3 iphone and install them onto a 1.1.1/1.1.2 iphone.

I hope this is do-able, as they did with the 1.1.2 SMS app to fix the short message problem on 1.1.1. From what I am reading though, it hopefully won't be too long before 1.1.3 is cracked for upgrade. OTB 1.1.3 phones are another issue though and apparently probably won't be unlockable until 1.1.4...
