3rd party MMS app

Hi All,

Was reading a thread from

http://www.modmyifone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20032

and

http://blog.swirlyspace.com/

Has anyone tried this - I loaded it on 1.1.2 but - and it sends on Telstra - but the people dont seem to get the messages.

Anyone got it working?

Regards

Tony

Didn't work here, either. But I always have had trouble with MMS via isim anyway so havent pursued it at length

What are the MMSC and Proxy Server Settings for Telstra and Optus (For me and my wife)?

Telstra won't give you the settings they will only send it to your phone.

Anyone know them for both Telstra and Optus?

If you check optuszoo you can get the info there, unable to help re telstra.

tony. I was able to send the message and my wife received the message but not the picture that I sent. We're half way there.

yes she is on Telstra. She recieved the MMS but no picture could be seen on her screen. I then sent another and the same thing happened. I decided to save the image to her phone and when I went to the phones photo gallery I could see the thumbnail of the image I sent her but then when I opened it up to view it was blank. Weird. Have sinced uninstalled the MMS app until someone verifies that it actually works.

I downloaded it via installer.

The app might be a WAP 1.2 MMSC application, try the proxy of 10.1.1.155:9201 rather than the one listed above.
