Ok the chatter has been strong last few days with a possible OTB FW 1.1.2 unlock from China.

And today with pictures surfacing of the next iPhone FW. The site originally posting the pictures has colapsed under the stress. But fortunatly a fella has coppied them and posted on his blog. Most everyone thinks the detail makes these to be legit.

Very nice indeed!

'Wait until the icon starts to wiggle' lol

does it do the hokey pokey?

i'm sure they will probably make it super complicated for us to update without issues tho

Yeah, I am still at 1.1.1. Let us know if you find an easy way to upgrade.

Some of the 1.1.3 features look great.

So... does anyone else think the 1.1.3 update is for the SDK and will be released after MWSF?

New features look interesting. Let's hope it's a fairly simple upgrade so the current jailbreak/unlock process still works.

They look dodgy. I just can't ever see Apple saying 'wiggle'.

And I never thought Microsoft would ever say "Welcome to the Social."

Kinda looks legit to me, mainly due to the quality of the UI. Some of that stuff is sorely needed (multiple SMS recipients, bookmarks on home screen). The wiggle term does sound odd though...

I'm somewhat skeptical because there's there's no new applications shown on the homescreen, and only a single screen is shown. Still, maybe new FW is no biggie, and what is shown is what is all we can expect. Picture #9, showing the map curled up, looks great and is the least likely to be faked.

If it were to be a 'big' release I think they'd be going straight to 1.2, not 1.1.3, wouldn't you?

This next update sounds like it is going to be good!
disk usage + SMS to multiple contacts are both handy features.

Hopefully this means by the time it reaches our shores it will have all the features I am looking for!

Sure I'd love 3.5G but don't think we will get it first...
I'm still hoping we get it in March - which means it should have 1.1.3 or most likely 1.1.4 on it by then!
