Hmmmm weird I just used all the power in my iPhone so i've left it to charge from the AC adaptor and when it powered up again it shows OPTUS where it used to show Optus.

Does it say "3G"? Maybe OPTUS is GSM and Optus is 3G? Just a thought. The carrier name is derived from where you are. So if you visited another country the carrier name would be whoever your phone registered with through international roaming. At least that's what's happened to me when I took my phone OS in the past.

Well considering the phone was in the same location when it powered off and then I started to charging it, give or take 1-2 metres.

They probably chose not to allow that for usability reasons, etc. I do miss different backgrounds too though. But I used to waste time switching them around too often anyway :P |

Can you have a blank screen as one of your desktops and then use a hack to put a wallpaper on? Call me trad, but I like being able to look at a simple screen rather than a whole bunch of logos.
So if you had two desktops, can one be black and one have your icons is my question.
