Icons - how to remove?
I'm running 1.1.2 and really enjoying the phone, but how do I remove unwanted icons that came installed with the phone (eg stocks, which I have no interest in)

I can use installer to remove programs that I've installed, had a look at and decide not to keep - but it's really others (originals) that I can't work out how to delete

The app Customize allows you to rearrange/hide icons, without uninstalling.

Try removing the .app from it via SSH.

That would remove the app totally wouldn't it? i.e. you wouldn't be able to get it back?

That's right. You could always download it from somewhere and put it back on again.
