Have we all lost our widgets?
Hi Folks,
I notice that there is a thread running over at Hackint0sh that tells me that I'm not alone in losing widget functions on the iPhone today.

Like me, a number of others around the world have found that today, Weather, Maps, and Stocks stopped working. Others are reporting YouTube stopped working too, but I have partial functionality there. It brings up the "Featured" page that I've logged into at some previous time, and can play any of the movies there, but it simultaneously gives me a "Cannot connect to YouTube" message and it won't let me open any other pages.

The iTunes store button still seems to be working fine.

One hopeful clue that this might not be just an iPhone problem (or even more scary: just an unlocked iPhone problem) is that the related AccuWeather and Yahoo-Stocks widgets in dashboard on my Mac are not working either, so hopefully it is just a big system down somewhere.

Anyone else have any clues, or perhaps a good conspiracy theory?!

What ever the issue was it was also affecting the weather & stock widget in dashboard for OS X

Yes, me to, and I see that others are reporting the same over at Hackint0sh, and that the Dashboard widgets are back up too. What a relief. Looks like they've got the system back up. Cuts off our chance for manufacturing conspiracy theories though.
