Nokia N95

So It came to my attention last night I can upgrade to an N95 for nothing more than I'm paying at the moment.

I'm currently using a V3X which I hate. It's slow, unresponsive, has piss poor battery life, and speaker phone is hard to access.

The N95 looks awesome on paper and from what I've read around and about the only sucky bit is battery life - which even then isn't as sucky as the V3X.

So, anyone got any thoughts or first hand experiences?

I saw one today and I like it!

So I would do it, the only thing is you would prob have to lengthen your contract.

there you go, your thread isn't dead!

ive been using one for around 9 months now, and they are generaly good,

has wifi and built in nav system (you have to pay for the speach options).

using wifi or the nav kills the battery, but an incar charger is $10 from most phone stores.

30-40 hrs just on, a couple of hours talk time. mine is charged every day though (charger at home and work)

the newer firmware (version 12. somehting last time I looked) makes a huge improvement (nokia software updater is Peecee only) with sat and other functions. and it syncs with ical etc with no issues in 10.4 and 10.5.

its a good phone, and a MUCH MUCH better performer than the v3x (with did not always comply with the 3gpp specs).

you could do a lot worse. if its a freebie, and you are happy to resign a contract, why not.

It came out this week (Fone Zone have them) but they start on a $150.00 business plan or a 107.00 Consumer plan.
