Important 1.1.2 Files

1.1.2 Appsupport file

Hi guys, in order to get 1.1.2 to work on any Aussie carrier, you need to use my modified Appsupport file. I haven't fixed up the number matching issue, but from preliminary use, that no longer seems to be an issue.

I have also attached a Telstra specific plist that should take care of all edge settings etc.

Sorry to be slightly off-topic.. But for those iPod Touch owners needing the latest iPhone 1.1.2 apps and frameworks, I've uploaded them here:

Very nice - thanks mate!

I hadn't heard that the 8 digit number matching issue had gone away but if that's true then it's another advantage of 1.1.2. If not, I'm sure that a patched AppSupport file will be available soon that we can edit for Australia again and post here

Thanks for the edited 1.1.2 AppSupport file. Saved me doing an edit tonight.

I had to set AllowEDGEEditing to true to get EDGE working though.

I also put more formatting in the UIPhoneFormats.plist but this time under au!

Now just to get the number matching working in recent calls. As I store all contacts in +61 format SMSs match up.

Can you still jailbreak and use the iPhone without a sim (as just an iPod), with this new bootloader? I'm slightly worried that my iPhone will be shipped with the new 1.1.2 FW.

I belive so................. But you use different process for FW 1.1.2. That is still being worked on & is not reliable. If you phone arrives with FW 1.1.2 you would be better to wait & see if some good tools do come avail.

Looks to be handy when I eventually get an iPhone (although probably a new firmware by then!), thanks in advance
