Complete beginner - iphone uploading/downloading
Hi folks,

i've got a new iphone with the 1.1.1 firmware. I'm trying to change the number formating to AUS as opposed to US. I don't have a clue how to upload/download from the iphone. Can you give me some step by step simple instructions.

My iphone doesn't appear on the desktop when connected by USB if this helps at all?

Find out your wifi ip address via your wifi settings and clicking the blue > icon.

Get a ftp client. Connect to that ip address with SFTP with the username root and the password alpine.

You need to navigate the folders/directory structure to the right location.
Then copy those files over, making backups if necessary.
Then edit the files, converting them if necessary (plists)
Then reupload them back to the right directory.
