For data packages, plans & pricing, check vodafone's website. http://vodafone.com.au

Notice the logo in the top left corner on my iPhone?

Awesome Disko!

I'd like to pick up an iPhone for work. I'm on a vodafone business phone plan (vodafone sim No.1) + a vodafone mobile modem for laptop broadband (vodafone sim No.2) in this: http://www.vodafonedirectdeals.com.a...cs.aspx?cid=34

What's your feedback on how to use either sim's or both? What plan are you using Disko? Thanks in advance :-)

Do you have this sim in an iPhone? If so I wonder if I could use an iPhone as the modem with macbook pro... I'm picking up an iPhone next week - can't wait to start playing!!

Correct, i also got a USB modem with my Sim card on this plan for free - Which lets me use it in my MBP on the 3G network.

And trust me - the iPhone is everything people say & more. Best device, ever.

Thanks for the reply and dido - it's a great little modem and data deal for sure!

Just out of interest... I've read that iPhone is not 3G... how is your connection / usability with this vodaphone sim in your iPhone (such as google map/youtube/email/chat etc)?

Posts like these makes me rethink whether I should go with Virgin, Vodafone, or Telstra for my soon to arrive iPhone

Pros:
Vodafone - Plenty of data. Can use the data on my laptop as well when needed.
Virgin - No contract, decent price for 300mb of data and voice + sms
Telstra - Faster speeds

Cons:
Vodafone - 24 month contract, voice + sms is extra
Virgin - 300mb may not be enough?
Telstra - Expensive and can only have 80mb.

Of course, the well balanced one is virgin...

Possibly this $39 for 5gig p/month (with free laptop modem) is recent. It's been great for laptop use so far as there is an application tracking your dl running on laptop, however if the dl's have occurred when sim is in iPhone I'm not sure on how to check the dl (seems I will be calling vodafone myself to see if online tracking is an option!) Anyone have feedback on data dl tracking with vodaphone sim in iPhone?
