Anyone have feedback on data dl tracking with vodaphone sim in iPhone?
The iPhone keeps track of how much data it uses, not sure if thats any help..

Calls are priced at 60 cents a minute using the Vodafone 3g sim. I told by the saleperson that i wouldn't be able to receive calls but you can. Not sure about flag fall. Much cheaper ways to make a phone call about so maybe a dual sim carrier in the iPhone might be an idea. I for example pay 10 cents a minute with 25 cents flag fall on Virgin's bean counter pre paid plan. Credit is bought in $25 blocks and lasts for 6 weeks if bought over the internet- otherwise 4 weeks if store bought credit.

Its tricky. There is nothing definitive in the software. The mobile connect software is only a rough guide. Not sure if there is a online facility. I registered (take the simcard out of your modem and put in your phone to get the SMS password) but unable to find anything online.

This is no doubt a stupid question, but is it possible to connect somehow the usb modem to an iPod touch?

Are you able to track your usage via the My Vodafone website?

www.vodafone.com.au
then look at your account details/recent activity. It should include data transactions. I know mine does (prepaid though).

No data listed in mine. Only number and time of longest connections as in a mobile phones history.

Only realy way to do it is to get one of the Linksys Mobile Broadband routers from Vodafone. You put a 3G card in it, and it serves it up over WiFi. Tad expensive if you ask me...but it'd work.
