France gets an unlocked iphone..
Orange are reporting this morning, due to French law prohibiting mobile to be locked to a single carrier, that the French iphone due to be released on November 29 will be unlocked. It will cost more but it will be available for any network.

Pricing for the unlocked phone has not been released as yet, but will do closer to the date.

Thank god I have family in the channel islands, perhaps i can see a new unlocked phone coming my way
