Solar Powered Charger

So then it doesnt matter where you are. As long as you have sun, you won't go without power to charge your phone...

How about making your post look a little less like spam.

Do you use one? Tell us about it.

No need to be nasty. I don't have one, and probably won't get one. I found the link on another site and thought perhaps some members of the forum might be interested.

Addit: If you had bothered checking my other posts in this forum and elsewhere, you would know I am not prone to spamming.

If you're not interested, and if you don't want it... ignore the post.

i recently bought a charger off ebay to for camping/disaster preparation, mainly to provide power for a modular LED torch/lantern set i also bought.

i haven't had a chance to fully test it out yet, but it seems to work ok, only when it's sunny of course!

the one above looks more portable than mine though i guess it doesn't charge batteries.

i'd also like to check how quick it charges high power AA's for digital camera use.. what's the best way to check the capacity of batteries?

the one i got is reviewed here but i couldn't find much more info about it:
http://www.steves-digicams.com/icp_solar.html

it can also [slowly] charge a car battery and has multiple plugs for various pieces of equipment.

WHOA, no one was being nasty, just thought your post was bordering on being spam, but I know it wasn't.
