Iphones - how much are people paying?
Hi all
After playing with an Iphone the other day I really really want one now. I have been looking on ebay but they seem to be going for near 1K. A bit much then I really want to spend on one of these things. What kind of money are you guys getting them for?

Locked, you are looking at around $650-$700, possibly cheaper if you are lucky. Be careful what firmware you get it with though.
Have a look at www.voitech.com.au
they offer unlocked phones as well and I brought off them so can vouch for their excellent service!

iv seen some unlocked iphones located in australia selling on ebay . they are going for 700 .

All up mine cost me $658 AUD. That was with someone in the states buying it from apple, express FedEx to me in Melbourne and me doing the unlock.
Considering I paid $985 for my iMate phone a few years ago, I think the iPhone is a bargain... a very cool and stylish one! :P

About $720 with a silicone cover, unlocked, 1.0.2 software and fully charged. Purchased in Hong Kong
I would have preferred to buy one locked for cheaper and unlock myself, but... well... when it's right in front of you and you have the cash... |

Can we purchase the iPhone directly from the US Apple store? (Never tried to buy from US Apple shop before.)
Or do you need a US postal address for the US store?
