mine arrived...

I applied it during the week.
Be careful how much "solution" you use on your fingers...

I ran out in the end!
So far so good - front panel around the edges didn't take as well as I would have liked (I think that was because I ran out of solution).

Was a bit fiddly, but for the most part looks great!
Will be interesting to see hoe long it lasts!

I've used them on every iPod ive had and they are absolutely worth it....

I used a lot of the spray, and spray the other side of the sheild once its applied before you squeegee it (makes it easier to get bubbles out)

The website used to say if you ran out of the spary to use a very small amount of dishwashing detergent in water.. I have had to do that in the past and it worked fine

I'm personally not too sure about using it on the iPhone because when you use it on the click wheel on the ipod 'sometimes' it is not very responsive

I ordered mine on the day I posted the original post in this thread, with an arrival date of "before the 19th October". I've not received it, and not received a response to my query email (though I wouldnt expect one til our Tuesday anyway).

I'm just a bit concerned that I've been caught up in the overload... I'm waiting for three shields, not just the iPhone one.

I'm a bit concerned about how much to use, I am a bit fretful about getting liquid into the earpiece (or, in fact any other part of the interior). I guess I just wont use as much in that area.

Does the shield cover the SIM tray? One would hope not

And mine was an iPod Touch full body cover... rather than the iPhone.

AHHHH, okay, then I just have to wait.

I'm also going to get a holster style carrier to hang on my belt, probably a Marware one. I don't normally have pockets in my daks and be darned if I will leave my iphone lying around in my bag at work! I'm keeping it on my person at all times (and it looks pretty tacky in the top pocket of my blouse)

Hey All,

I ordered mine just after Kyte posted the link and I received it last week on the 17th. I put it on the next day and it was a little tricky but nothing terribly hard.

Have to say, I am really pleased with it. It's amazingly tough! I slid a drill bit across the screen demonstrating to someone how strong this shield it.. It's amazing!

I used a good amount (probably too much) when I squeegeed it, water ran over the edge (ipod not phone) but I had a cloth at the edge to collect any water before it could go anywhere. End result was no bubbles and was easy as to put on

I would be concerned about the earpiece as well...

Check these out: I don't like the skins because mine always end up looking "gungy" after awhile, but I don't want bulk either. This looks to be the perfect solution: Suede Jacket I just bought one. If I remember to, I'll post a review when it comes.

I also bought this to use to keep all the accessories organized: Waterfield Designs Travel Case

Sadly, after all that, mine still did not arrive (Aus post strikes again?). The Shieldzone people say they will post another. In the meantime its really too late. I've been pretty careful but I have scratches on the back anyway.

FINALLY!! My shields have arrived. Not doing the application until the weekend though, I can just imagine the mess I will make of it all, if I try it after work one day. ugh.

Ordered mine yesterday.

$13 including postage is not bad if it is a good as people say it is.

Hope my iphone gets here by the end of this week.

CAN'T wait.

Best thing ive bought for my ipod touch. I highly recommend it. try your best not to get bubble on the front, but even the bubbles i had on the back are really gone after 2 weeks or so. Trust the thing to look even better over time.
