Voicemail & voicemail text messages
OK, so I've programmed the voicemail button on the iphone so it now rings my telstra message bank directly. Only problem I'm still having though is that it doesn't actually send me a text message to tell me I have a received a voicemail like it did before I swapped to the iPhone.
I would have thought it would just be like receiving a standard text, but there's obviously something more to it.
Any ideas?

I still get my SMS notifications from optus when I get my voicemails, I'm with optus though.

No Voicemail Texts
I have the same issue with Vodafone. No text informing me of a new Voicemail.
Had to switch it to ringback until I can find a solution

I'm also on Optus (isim), and the first time I used the phone I did get a voicemail notification SMS (XXX called but did not leave a message). Since then though, it seems to have stopped working, and I don't get an SMS if a message is left

yes - I've tried it a few times leaving myself a message, but the notification never arrives. The diversion is definitely working ok.

Yeah the call back feature with Telstra works ok, but I think they charge you for it.
