missing ipod features in iPhone
Hi

Has anyone with an iphone figured out how to get to rate the tracks playing? I cannot seem to find the little screen with the stars.

Also with podcasts if you hit the central button on an ipod enough times the podcast information screen comes up, usually fullof tracklistings for the music podcasts. Has anyone been able to find this screen as well?

I cant find either.

I think you may have found yet another swag of shortcomings on the iphone

I had the exact same problem on mine, and I guess you can only rate albums. I could be wrong though.

:edit: when you flip over the art, it is the stars at the top.

I wonder whether they are available on the Touch. That would be interesting.

I kinda feel the ipod in the iphone has been neglected somewhat.

I find it difficult to navigate, and for fine control forget that slider, it sucks.

That would be my only quibble however. I love it otherwise.

You should be able to rate the songs. Touch the cover art and find the info panel. I think..

Yep. Or double tap the cover art.

When it flips over to show you the track listing the stars are along the top.

yes yes, thanks, but not the coverflow version of the album. its the vertially orientated album screen that lets you rate the songs individually even though it looks like your rating whole albums.

still cant get that podcast info though...
