hi,
the unlock iPhone doesn΄t cost 750 in france. In theory it cost 700 but doing the things you have to do to unlock it it will cost you 675.
well, its what iread when it came out in france. i have done some research and yes the iphone with no contract its 650 + 100 to unlock it for the first 6 months. after that its for free
 sorry for my mistake

Apple wants over-the-air music downloads for 3G iPhone
"Given that the negotiations are only a few weeks young, it's reported that any deal may not be announced until after June 9th, the most likely day for the introduction of the much-anticipated 3G iPhone."

Im thinking that the screen is just a mock up....
we are looking at the shape of the 3G iphone.. not the phone itself.
you can see their page here
http://www.xskn.com/?m=Products&sid=284&cid=1
notice the shape change.... the curve back...

Optus just called me ...
Optus (or a person from there) just called, more out of courtesy, asking if my phone is going well, happy with the plan etc. I thought it may have been one of those calls similar to those on Vodafone (calling up current iPhone users) to get my interest/buy in to a future iPhone contract but this wasn't the case.
He offered me some loyalty credits to keep my number with them a bit longer. I agreed.
We had an interesting discussion about the iPhone on Optus. All I'll say is it won't be available on Optus as soon as people maybe thinking!

Well if that is the case, it certainly doesn't look much different..
Little bit fatter, different home button.
I'm not keen on a white one, but I can see Apple offering white or black.
The white one lacks the wow factor, will age it quicker and makes it seem less professional and more toy-like. Just my opinion. There may be a lot of white fans out there?

All I'll say is that iPhone availability at Optus is still under NDA, so whoever you spoke to doesn't know anything.

You are quite right.
