Well I have read in many places that it is going to be a few millimetres thinner. Definitely a wait and see on this one.

Thats a computer though, if you look at the iPod, it does that function very well without the complications that the other MP3 players seem to call features.
Yes the iPhone a device that has many functions and features , but I still dont see it getting full blown GPS

According to Gizmodo, the 'leaked' iPhone shot with the shiny black back is just a third party case. They include a pic from a Hong Kong retailer.

Daft are you? Colorware mod has a line between the metal and the plastic base. The Colorware mod does not show the text on the case. Look at the image on this site

The photo in question is not the Colorware mod, but thanks for posting it again, it's really big and shiny. Do you like shiny things? You can see your reflection.

I don't think that glossy one posted is a case. Look at the camera, and compare it to your current Gen 1 iPhone. If it was a case, the chrome surround of the camera lens edge would be obscured.
It's clearly not a Colorware mod, either.
More like Photoshop job IMO, I say this because I doubt Gen 2 iPhone will be 8gb and it clearly says 8GB on the back.

Actually, im going to call BS on my previous photoshop suggestion.. the reflections in the glossy case seem to work...
I guess the case could have its own chrome edge around the camera, too, which means I should never have opened my mouth

ok. i do stand corrected. and i do apologise.
you are right, the colorware mod is not the case posted everywhere else in the past 24 hours.
not daft thank you thunderstruck. just amazingly sunburnt and tired.
and i didnt read the article because i assumed it was the 'formalised' version of what i just stated (as well as what a few others have stated)
vortex: you are making the same assumption i made....
the truth is out 3G iPhone appears in Hong Kong?…Not really—winandmac.com

Yeah...can't believe you guys still think it's a case of Colorware....it looks totally different. And yeah, I still am wary thats a photoshop pic. It's pretty good reflection. And yeah, it does look "thicker" than the first version....but like everyone here, we will have to wait till it is officially release....then we can have the last word!
