Yeah, we all saw it when it was first posted right here.
Doing a straight cut and paste of the story is just plain lazy.

You'd be amazed at how many MacTalk articles have been copied and pasted with no attribution around the web. It's really disappointing when I see someone taking my work or the work of my friends here on MT and passing it off as their own.

Actually that wasn't aimed at you - it was in reference to the link you posted, in which Anthony's original story was cut and pasted without alteration or attribution.
No need to be so sensitive

Anyone else noticed that the heat on this topic has now died down and is being focused on the extremely dodgy looking Attack of the Clones.

Seems like they reward piracy these days, with the annoying "you wouldn't steal a car", etc crap that plays at the start of legitimately purchased DVDs.

I just dislike the theft comparison. Would I steal a car? No. Would I make an identical copy of a car and leave the original exactly where it was? Maybe.
But yeah, I always remark to people that if they'd "stolen" a copy of a DVD they wouldn't need to sit through the unskipable copyright warning, uskipable studio logo and unskipable "the pirates are out to get you" crap.
Sometimes I honestly think studios are out to punish the people who actually gave them money. When the "free" version of your product is superior, you've already lost...
