Sent this as an email to support but realised I should have posted it here!...

In iStat menus there is a behaviour missing which I think should be there... in an apple menu, for example the airport menu, when you click on it, keep the mouse button pressed, then move the mouse over a menu item, that item gets highlighted. Then when you release the mouse button the item gets selected.

In the iStat menus this doesn't happen... you have to click on the istat menu item then release the mouse button then again click on the option eg. open iCal.

Is there any way to change this so that istat matches the system menu items?
