It seems to have lost some sensors in the 8 core.
That's hardwaremonitor compared to ism. The CPU temps that ISM reports seems to be the two dual core CPUs in the first Quad Core package (confusing innit? Each quad-core package in an 8core is made of two dual-core dies. Two quad-core packages per machine, four dual-core dies in total) but leaves out the temps of the whole other Quad Core package, and both its inbuilt temp sensors.
The two heatsink temps seem to not be showing up, either.
In the prefs, for selecting which sensors to show, I get this too:
hope that helps
Dana

Dana, that's not a bug. We decided that you had too many cores so we disabled some of them.
It's for your own good.
Have a nice day,
marc & iSlayer.
(PS: I'm sure iSlayer will see this and probably sort it out )
(PPS: Just saw the "8 Chats" window... everything's 8 with you isn't it!)

Dana ill fix the heatsink problems. The reason the other cores are missing is because the smc controller doesnt read per core values. Hardware monitor uses a kext to do it.

Coolcool - the single 1-8 cores isn't a worry, since they're wildly inaccurate sensors and can read 8C in a 20C ambient room, and jump all over the place - the biggie is that ISM currently reads the temps correctly from the sensors in the first two dies of package 1, but misses the other two dies in package 2

Is there any way to change the text to red also? (maybe a terminal setting?)

User selectable location of calendar graphic?
It would be nice to be able to allow users to add the calendar date graphic to either the left or right sides of the time/date. Currently, it appears to be hard coded to the left.

I too would like this, eg. so that I can put the Day token to the left of the Cal graphic, then the Time tokens on the right.

Beta 8 is up!
Fixed stuff:
- Fixes for temperature support on 8 core mac pros
- Some other tiny bugs fixed that no one here saw
It's likely this will be the last beta unless someone spots something.
Download link is in the first post.

I probably don't use it to its full potential, but I haven't found anything wrong with it.
